Who We Are:
NCC/Promax is a leader in providing cutting-edge software solutions for the automotive industry. Our software helps dealerships streamline their operations, enhance their finance and insurance (F&I) processes, and drive profitability.

OVERVIEW:
We are seeking an experienced AI/ML Engineer to design and deploy intelligent systems that enhance dealer workflows and unlock insights from dealership data.
This role will focus on building data-driven systems that improve decision-making, optimize processes, and surface meaningful insights across our automotive SaaS platform. The ideal candidate combines strong software engineering fundamentals with experience developing AI/ML-driven solutions in production environments.
This is a hands-on engineering role working at the intersection of intelligent systems, enterprise SaaS, and data-driven decision support

Why This Role Matters
This role will help embed intelligent decision support directly into our automotive SaaS platform — improving operational efficiency, increasing consistency across workflows, and unlocking greater value from dealership data.
The Machine Learning Engineer will play a central role in shaping how intelligence is integrated into the next generation of our platform.

What You’ll Do:

Intelligent Decision & Optimization Systems
  • Design and implement data-driven systems that enhance decision-making across dealer workflows
  • Develop predictive or optimization logic using structured dealership data
  • Translate business objectives into scalable intelligent services
  • Improve consistency, accuracy, and efficiency in operational processes
  • Ensure solutions are explainable, reliable, and aligned with enterprise and regulatory expectations
Data & Knowledge Systems
  • Build systems that extract insights from structured dealership data (CRM, DMS, transactional records)
  • Implement knowledge retrieval or search capabilities across policies and documentation where appropriate
  • Collaborate with product teams to surface actionable intelligence within dashboards and workflows
Model Deployment & Integration
  • Design and deploy containerized AI services within AWS (ECS/Fargate)
  • Integrate intelligent services into existing APIs and application workflows
  • Monitor system performance, reliability, and integrity
  • Ensure data security, auditability, and compliance alignment

What You’ll Have:
  • 85+ years of software engineering experience
  • 2+ years building and deploying AI/ML systems in production environments, with strong experience in Python-based data and ML development preferred
  • Experience working with structured data and predictive or decision-support systems
  • Experience deploying cloud-based services (AWS preferred)
  • Understanding of secure API design and enterprise application architecture
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience in fintech, lending, automotive retail, or other regulated environments
  • Experience building risk scoring, fraud detection, or optimization systems
  • Familiarity with LLM integration or knowledge retrieval systems
  • Understanding of model explainability and monitoring concepts
  • Experience working with CRM or financial transaction platforms

What We’re Looking For
  • An engineer who can move from concept to deployed solution
  • Strong problem-solving skills in data-driven environments
  • Ability to translate business objectives into intelligent systems
  • Ability to work independently, take initiative, and drive projects from concept through deployment
  • Comfortable working cross-functionally with product and leadership
  • High ownership mindset and pragmatic decision-making

Core Values:
We are looking for a leader who embodies our values:
  • One Team: We are transparent, collaborative, and aligned.
  • Customer Obsessed: We are a partner, not a vendor.
  • Forward Focused: We challenge ourselves and the norm to innovate continuously.
  • Act Now: We don’t put off to tomorrow what we can do today.
  • Results Driven: We act with purpose to deliver value for our clients and our company.

What We Offer:
  • Competitive pay
  • Unlimited PTO
  • Comprehensive benefits package, including health, dental, and vision insurance.
  • 401(k) plan with company match.
  • Professional development opportunities and continuous training.
  • A supportive and dynamic work environment with opportunities for growth and advancement.

We are an equal employment opportunity employer and a drug-free workplace.
