Area Sales Manager

The Area Sales Manager (ASM) will develop and nurture a sales pipeline of primarily new car dealerships, operating within the target geographic area. The ASM will be responsible for actively prospecting new accounts to exceed weekly revenue goals. This is a home based position.


Develop and maintain business revenue through prospecting, cold-calling, and consultative sales presentations.
Build a sales pipeline comprised primarily of regional New Car Franchises.
Develop and implement a sales plan to support sales, KPI and profitability goals.
Cold call and make personal sales presentations.
Consistently achieve assigned sales goal both Monthly and Quarterly objectives.
Collaborate with Marketing and Inside Sales to identify and execute on successful lead generation campaigns.
Record all sales activity in, while maintaining weekly and monthly performance standards.
Attend and present at select trade shows and Auto Dealer conferences.
Report, communicate and provide management information regarding business developments and opportunities.
Territory travels expected with possible overnight stays required.


Automotive retail or auto vendor experience preferred.
3 years minimum B2B sales experience selling solutions to Auto Dealers is preferred.
Must be proficient with Microsoft Office, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook and Apple Products and Programs.
Exceptional communications skills both written and verbal.
Capable of delivering compelling presentations to diverse audiences including management and decision makers.
Ability to identify cross and up-sell opportunities.
Experience building client relationships that lead to account revenue growth.


Base plus commission (6 figure earnings with no cap) 1st year expectations at goal.
